About us
Katahdin Gateway Insurance was established in 1999 to serve the members of Katahdin Federal Credit Union and the Katahdin Region. Our office was located at 749 Central Street, Millinocket, in 2001 Katahdin Gateway Insurance purchased an insurance agency at 60 Main Street, East Millinocket and soon moved our 2nd location to 112 Main Street, Suite 3 East Millinocket in 2002. In 2012 we added a third location buy purchasing what was once Weatherbee/Cross Agency at 30 Goding Avenue, Lincoln. In 2018, we moved our Millinocket branch to 1000 Central Street, Millinocket in Katahdin Federal Credit Union to better serve the needs of the credit union members. Today we still maintain three full time locations to conveniently serve all of our clients. We can review and shop your insurance with many different companies to make sure you get the best coverage, at the best price, to fit your individual needs!
